Hi, I’m Chris Bailey. I trained as a nurse in Paddington in the 1980s, eventually specialising in cancer care. For the last 25 years I have worked as an academic in London, Southampton and Nottingham, teaching a range of topics and researching in cancer care. I’m approaching a significant birthday this year and retired from the School of Health Sciences at the University of Nottingham at Christmas.
Favourite Animal: Black Labrador (they’re so good-tempered)
Favourite Colour: (apart from black): orange
Favourite Film: Have to be Blade Runner (Final Cut) and Amadeus (Wolfie you’re a hero). Quite rightly, I never got my O level in woodwork.
